Personal Boundaries Free Webinar/Workshop

Your invitation:
Have you ever been burgled? Or had anything stolen from you? How did it feel? When my home was emptied I actually wasn’t bothered about what they stole and destroyed, I was more upset that someone had entered my space with no invitation and showed no respect for my privacy. It bothered me – for a long time – that someone had been wandering about my space – I thought was protected and safe – with no regard for the human that lived there.
And yet, for a lot longer, I let a lack of respect and regard into my life emotionally because I had no boundaries (or very wishy-washy ones that were always being crossed) in place.
We spend, care for and put a lot of effort into protecting our physical boundaries, but what about our personal boundaries?

Do you know them? Or do you find yourself going against your own core values just to please others and keep the peace? Do you let others define you? Do you keep quiet and say nothing when someone treats you with no respect?Do you feel bad or guilty when you speak your truth? Do you forget that others have boundaries too, expecting everyone else in the world to follow yours? Do you expect others to meet all your emotional needs automatically, that they ‘shouldn’t have to ask’, they should ‘just know’ what you need? Do you use emotional blackmail to have your needs met? Do you say yes, when you want to say no? Do you know your boundaries but they keep getting crossed because you don’t know how to communicate them to others? Do you think boundaries separate us and you want to be connected?
Living Moxie is about being who you are: setting and maintaining healthy personal boundaries are part of this.
What we’ll cover in the 90 minute workshop:
- What are personal boundaries?
- Why have them?
- What are emotional boundaries?
- The different types of boundaries.
- How to set your own (or rebuild).
- How to let others know your boundaries.
- Where you can set them for your life.
- On crossing/drawing and transcending the line.
- Staying connected.
- Time for Q and A.
This event is now over.
*You will be taken to a registration page asking for your name and email address – please complete this even if you already get Living Moxie updates. You will then receive a confirmation email saying you’ve signed up (yeah!). This registration page and email is part of the system I use to host the webinar. Then, 24 hours before the call you will receive a reminder.
We won’t be completing a PHD in personal boundaries but my intention for the workshop is to share with you enough so that you can explore more. For 10 years I delivered professional and personal boundaries training (in the Health & Social Care Sector), although our focus is personal boundaries, you can take what we cover into your professional life.
I hope you can make it. A recording (fingers crossed) will be made available. So even if the date and time is no good, sign up and this will be sent to you.
Last thing, never attended a webinar do-doh before? Here’s what to expect:
This could be your first one. Allow me to explain what happens:
A ‘webinar’ is the online word for a ‘seminar’ (or in this case workshop). Just a fancy name for ‘online seminar’.
- You will get the link for the webinar in your confirmation email.
- The webinar all takes place online. Clicking the link at the time (or 5 minutes before it starts), you will see a screen welcoming you to the webinar. Nobody can see or hear you.
- I chuck the dogs and cats out my office, then click a button to begin the webinar. You will see me, I won’t be able to see you. You do have the option to ‘stick your hand up’ and ‘chat’ as we go through the workshop but not if you don’t want to, you’re in complete control.
- What to bring? A cuppa. Pen and paper if you want to take notes.
I hope that takes away any hesitation about joining. It’s just me (and others, but you won’t be able to see or speak to them). But, if you have any questions just get in touch here.
Want to invite/share with friends? Just click the links below to do that, and thank you for doing so.
