A Little Book To Dare You Not to Just Settle…

Free Confidence ResourceIt’s a full 23 pages of ‘little life dares’: short and snappy, available as a PDF for quick download and printing (so you can save and read in your own time.)

As a child did you dare (and double dare) your friends?

Did you (like me) always accept the dare?

Oh, wasn’t that fun? Exhilarating?

Right, okay sometimes foolish (well it was the day I leapt of a chute to the dare ‘how far can you jump’ and nearly broke my neck! The brusies were spectacular, and the courtesy ‘stupidity whallop’ from my mum a tad stinging!)

As a child did you generally accept the dares thrown at you? Why?

  • No fear?
  • Unaware of the consequences?
  • Not able to process the cause and effect of your risk taking?
  • For pride: to save face with your ‘daredevil’ friends?
  • Not to be the odd one out?
  • Peer pressure?

As an adult when someone says ‘I dare you’, do you shy and coy away?

So, I’m curious, if someone were to take a fear that you owned and said ‘Go on, I dare you’, would you, if the ‘double dare’ or alternative consequence was worse?

This report is not about force or ‘do this or else’ – it’s just a few words to get the old grey cells working, a thought bucket!

If there is just one line or example dare in it that makes you sit up and pay attention…it’s done it’s job!
